DOANE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN CHALLENGE 20/20 PROGRAM, SPONSORED BY NAIS

Approved for participation during the second semester, a team of middle grade students (6-9) from Doane Academy will be participating in The Challenge 20/20 program. Sponsored by the NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools), the program is designed to foster cross-continent relationships and develop problem-solving skills. Our students will use web-based technology to communicate and collaborate with students from two other schools, one in Texas and the other in Zimbabwe! Doane Academy and its’ partner schools will work together to learn about their assigned global problem – deforestation and propose solutions that they can help institute to ensure a better global future. Look out for updates during the second semester regarding the Challenge 20/20.
